Community Faith Formation (CFF)

St. Patrick’s faith formation program is a program that allows children and their families to grow in their understanding of the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was sent to bring salvation and new life to all. As they encounter Christ in Sacred Scripture, the liturgy, the sacraments, and in serving their neighbors, they will come to know, through the power of the Holy Spirit and the grace of God, the depth and breadth of who they are as a “…chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s own people…called to proclaim the mighty acts of him who called [them] out of darkness into his marvelous light (1 Peter 2:9)”.

K-5th Grade Faith Formation:
Our faith formation program for K-5th grade children is based on an adapted version of the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, a Montessori-based Catholic formation program. In this program, biblical stories, liturgy, and sacraments are explored in depth using specially prepared three-dimensional models, rather than by paper and pencil work, in order to honor the young child's need to learn in a multi-modal and sensorial manner. This program is offered on Sunday mornings and Tuesday afternoons.

PLEASE NOTE: Additional registration form must be completed by 2nd graders or older students preparing for First Communion and First Reconciliation:

Spirit Quest

6-8th Grade Faith Formation:

Spirit Quest is a three-year Confirmation preparatory program designed for 6-8th grade children. The program is built around the Four Pillars of Dominican life: Prayer, Community, Study, and Service. This program offers middle-school age children the opportunity to explore questions about their Catholic faith tradition and God and, thereafter, to challenge themselves to be of "one mind and one heart in God.” The children gather in a small group environment with parish mentors that nurture and guide the children's faith journey toward a deeper understanding of their value to God and their mission to be "salt and light" (Matt 5:13-16) in the world. This program is offered for 6-7th graders on Sunday morning, Monday evening, or Wednesday evening, and Tuesday evening for 8th graders.

Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults

Adult Faith Formation:

The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is a series of classes to learn about Jesus Christ and to develop an intimate relationship with our Savior through prayer, study of Sacred Scripture, exploration of Catholic beliefs and practices, Eucharistic worship, and fellowship. Adults needing Baptism, Christians baptized in another faith tradition who desire to become Catholic, or persons baptized in need of First Communion or Confirmation or both, are invited to join us on a spiritual journey to encounter the living Christ who "calls you by name" (Isaiah 43:1).
